The flow diversion technique with the use of devices placed in the artery embolization parent is a new approach for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms - especially fusiform and larger with a wide neck.
These devices have a high coverage relative container wall and the ability to change the hemodynamic forces and vectors in the segment carrying the aneurysm.

The device allows the treatment of various anatomies with vessels diameters from 2.5 mm to 6.0 mm in diameter. The wide range of sizes diameters comprising 3.5 mm to 6.0 mm and lengths of 15 mm to 50 mm and thus offers optimum device selection for better flow properties diversion. long lesions can now be treated by a single DERIVO® instead of using multiple devices in a telescopic technique.
All sizes DERIVO® embolization devices are deliverable with a "microcatheter ID 0.027.
