The flow diversion technique with the use of devices placed in the parent artery is a new approach for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, especially fusiform and larger with a wide neck.
These devices have a high coverage wall and the ability to change the hemodynamic forces and vectors in the segment carrying the aneurysm.
The DERIVO® embolization device meets all the requirements of a last generation flow diverter such as easy handling, safe and innovative surface finishing and repositioning capacity.
The device allows the treatment of various anatomies with vessel diameters from 2.5 mm to 6.0 mm. The wide range of diameters and lengths, from 15mm to 50mm, offers optimum device selection. Long lesions can now be treated by a single DERIVO® instead of using multiple devices in a telescopic technique.
All DERIVO® sizes are deliverable with an ID 0.027” microcatheter.
Less friction during delivery and expansion due to BlueXide® surface finish and closed distal end.
